SmileGrove

SmileGrove is the dental practice of Dr Karen Man. Karen’s husband, Elliot, is a friend of mine so when they needed a new website they reached out to me. The branding and colours were created by another designer and the home page was designed by another friend of mine, Artie. Once the general look and feel was established I rolled the design out to the rest of the site.

Of note is the use of Barba.js to create smooth animated transitions between pages. The transition leaving the home page reveals the SmileGrove logo, which was a nice touch that we decided to limit to that one route as to not overdo it.

I set up the site to use GSAP smooth scrolling as well as fade in animations for the text.

This was a fun one, Elliot and Karen were great creative partners and proved that it actually is possible to work with friends on this type of work.
